About the event
The East Valley Area Reformation Service will be held on Sunday, October 27 at 4:00 PM. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. This year we celebrate the 507th anniversary of the beginning of the Lutheran Reformation, with a special focus on the 500th anniversary of the first Lutheran hymnal, published in 1524. Pastor Jasper Sellnow from Grace Lutheran Church in Glendale will be our guest preacher. Holy Communion will be celebrated in the service.
Refreshments will be served following the service. If you can join us, please bring either an appetizer or a dessert to share. Drinks will be provided.
This will be a dynamic festival celebration, with special music, instruments, and choirs for children and adults. If you would like to participate by playing an instrument or singing in one of the choirs, please contact Emmanuel's worship coordinator, Mr. Kevin Bode, at kbode@elstempe.org.
